Review Guidelines
1. The book must be considered Historical Fiction. I would prefer the story to be set in Europe, Asia or Egypt as this is where my interest lays. I am open to both adult and YA historical fiction novels. If you have a book that does not fit these requirements, please send me an e-mail with a brief synopsis of the story and I will consider your novel for review
2. By accepting or reviewing a book I cannot guarantee that it will be read immediately. It will depend on how many reviews I have already at the time of your request as well as the amount of time I am able to devote to reading.
If you have a specific time for when you expect the review, please let me know in advance so that I can ensure that the book will be read with enough time to write the review. Please be courteous and allow enough time for the book to be read and reviewed. If I know that I will be unable to meet the requested deadline, I will unfortunately have to decline the request to review.
If the book is an Advance Reading Copy, I will do my best to publish the review as close to the release date as possible.
3. All reviews published will be honest and truthful to my opinion therefore not all reviews will be spectacular and there may be some negative comments. I will not play favourites and I will treat all authors with the respect that they deserve, even if I don’t care for their work. This blog is written and edited by me. I do this for my love of reading, to assist others in making an informed decision about what book to pick up next and to help unknown authors get their name out there.
4. If you are interested in having me review your work, please contact me at kyrsta@live.ca. The e-mail should include a brief summary of the novel, the release date and a desired post date if applicable.
